Life, uh, finds a way.

And life GETS in the way. I’ve been so distracted by simply trying to be a functioning adult and parent, I have let the “Blog” portion of this website just wither away. It’s not like I use it for SEO purposes*, or have a huge readership, so I’m really not worried about it. In fact, the only reason I’m typing right now is I was editing other portions of the website and wondered, “When was my last post?” March of 2024. That’s when it was.

Since then, I’ve started making (and selling) horse treats (see photo) to support my daughter’s equine habit, hosted family and friends for medium-term visits, been writing a LOT for other people’s projects, and despite trying to be a good parent, completely forgot to pay for my kid’s PSAT.

I’m not even going to make a false promise to “do better”. Not to you, and not to myself.

Okay, maybe I’ll try to post four times a year from now on :)

Nah - I’ll just check in to this page whenever I remember.
